Outcrazying the Crazies

The Samson Option is a term used to describe Israel’s alleged deterrence strategy of massive retaliation with nuclear weapons as a “last resort” against nations whose military attacks threaten its existence, and possibly against other targets as well. Israel refuses to admit it has nuclear weapons or describe how it would use them, an official policy of nuclear ambiguity, also known as "nuclear opacity." This has made it difficult for anyone outside the Israeli government to definitively describe its true nuclear policy, while still allowing Israel to influence the perceptions, strategies and actions of other governments.
The butcher, Ariel Sharon, expressed the Samson Option (before it was called such) as his personal philosophy in 1982:
"I personally don't want to be any better than Khomeini or Brezhnev or Ghadafi or Assad or Mrs. Thatcher, or even Harry Truman who killed half a million Japanese with two fine bombs. I only want to be smarter than they are, quicker and more efficient, not better or more beautiful than they are. Tell me, do the baddies of this world have a bad time? If anyone tries to touch them, the evil men cut his hands and legs off. They hunt and catch whatever they feel like eating. They don't suffer from indigestion and are not punished by Heaven. I want Israel to join that club. Maybe the world will then at last begin to fear me instead of feeling sorry for me. Maybe they will start to tremble, to fear my madness instead of admiring my nobility. Thank God for that. Let them tremble, let them call us a mad state. Let them understand that we are a wild country, dangerous to our surroundings, not normal, that we might go crazy if one of our children is murdered - just one! That we might go wild and burn all the oil fields in the Middle East! If anything would happen to your child, God forbid, you would talk like I do. Let them be aware in Washington, Moscow, Damascus and China that if one of our ambassadors is shot, or even a consul or the most junior embassy official, we might start World War Three just like that!"
Yoo hoo...krazy kat...Ok he's now a vegetable but there are others, like Bibi Dearest.
"We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq," Ma'ariv quoted the former prime minister as saying. He reportedly added that these events "swung American public opinion in our favor."
It's no secret that Israel has nuclear weapons, and lots of them, and that Israel would like to start a war with Iran because Israel wants to maintain world hegemony. However, Israel needs to control it's military arm, meaning the US military, and so far that has not been a problem either thanks to organized Jewry wielding massive, disproportionate control over the media and financial industries, the end result being that our political system has become completely subservient to Jewish interests, which are not the same as American interests. That's how we got into Iraq, and that's how Israel would like to get us into Iran.

So it's getting interesting with North Korea, because acting crazy is one thing when Israel does it as a calculated tactic while controlling massive American resources and public opinion, and it's quite another thing when crazy Kim Jong-il does it. He might ruin everything with getting the war on Iran on. It's like he's cutting in the lunch line.

On the one hand, this trouble with North Korea could remove some obstacles to starting a war with Iran, because if diplomacy fails in Pyongyang, that will be used as an excuse not to bother with diplomacy in Tehran. That opens the door to a military conflict, which Israel desperately wants as long as the US military takes the losses. But on the other hand, North Korea could tie up the US military first. And if the US military is not available to fight Israel's desired war with Iran, that sort of leaves the job to Israelis and possibly calls the Samson Option bluff, because you know someone will get hurt. And as crazy Ariel Sharon said back in 1982, it only takes ONE to set them off.

Here's a rather hysterical Israeli opinion-maker claiming that WW III has already started.

One needs to be deaf, blind, and an idiot at this time in order not to understand that the nuclear bomb tested in North Korea two days ago also exploded in the Prime Minister’s Office in Jerusalem.

The North Koreans blatantly disregarded the Americans and publicly presented them as a meaningless power, yet officials in Jerusalem are still reciting the “Road Map” and making note of the evacuation of some minor West Bank outpost. The world is changing before our eyes, yet here we see Knesset members earnestly explaining that the Americans will agree that we stay in Judea and Samaria if we only evacuate some tin shacks.

Do you see how upset he is that the North Koreans insulted the Americans? It's almost like the Israelis feel personally insulted. Hmm. Either the Israelis are just being our really good friends, OR, the Israelis run America and the insult is actually directed at them. A commenter to this Press TV story left this remark: "Strength to the DPRK! Keep up your artillery and strike any blows necessary. Death to any zionist puppets who dare to intimdate you. Your a very honorable man Kim Jong Il." Mmm hmm. Crazy Mr. Kim is standing up to the bullies.

Back to Israeli opinion...

Two days ago, in North Korea, World War III officially got underway – the war that would pit “crazy” states such as North Korea and Iran, for example, against states we shall characterize as “moderate,” including Egypt, Gulf states, and Saudi Arabia, which at this time leads the Arab initiative for peace with Israel.

Ever since Sunday, the world has gone crazy, and this crazy world is monitoring with horror the struggle between the “moderate” and “crazy” states. The problem is that some of those crazy states – Iran, Pakistan, and North Korea [note the quick addition of Pakistan from one paragraph to the next - ed.] – already have, or will have, a nuclear button to push, while the moderates, headed by the United States, are not eager to rush into battle.

Why? Because America is already entangled in wars, [for Israel - ed.] and there was someone who recently won the presidential elections there, among other reasons because he pledged to remove US troops from the Iraqi and Afghani quagmire. That same president promised that we shall live in a world free of nuclear weapons. Remember that?

This is the same North Korea that spat in America’s face three years ago, and this week it did it again. Based on the reactions in Washington (unless they are part of a deception campaign,) it doesn’t appear that the great America will respond. Now all we need is for Iran to blatantly disregard America and Israel in order to prompt us to slide into real emergency turmoil (as opposed to the drill planned for the coming days.)

Iran is here already. There is a direct and intimate link between the Korean bomb and the planned Iranian bomb; between Iran’s and North Korea’s spit in America’s face, Washington’s desire and ability to lead the fight against the crazy world, and the Israeli government’s conduct.

One does not need to be a supporter or rival of the settlement enterprise in the territories to understand this Gordian knot – and the question is whether we want the American sword to undo it for us.

If the answer is positive, we need to be familiar with the Americans to realize that three tin huts removed from the Maoz Ester outpost are not good enough.

It seems to me that man is not confident in Bibi and Avigdor's ability to finesse the diplomacy enough to control the American sword (the US military), presuming it is even available. Army Chief of Staff General Casey met with an unnamed think tank (AEI? JINSA? Heritage Foundation???) on Thursday and stated that it would take 90 days to shift gears in case of a military confrontation with North Korea. That's kind of a long time, and if in the middle of that the US military has to turn around and redeploy people to Iran...well, something would just have to give. And by that time more people will have died, and meanwhile the economy is collapsing. The old lies might just not work anymore. That's Israel's problem.

WW3 is currently underway? I guess that explains the headache I woke up with this morning.

Don't the peeps get it by now? What does it take? Oh, where's my frying pan?

Oil futures have posted their largest monthly gain in years. When oil futures rise during an economic downturn, that's a pretty good indication that the moneymen know there will be a disruption in the Straight of Hormuz.

Or, the economy is making a miraculous recovery and it's just straight up and blue skies ahead.
